How to make DIY E-Juice
Making E-Juice is a great way to save money and is becoming more and more necessary by many who live in states that have banned favored products. Here are a few simple & easy steps.
WARNING: Liquid nicotine should only be handled by knowledgeable individuals with proper safety equipment and storage solutions. High concentrations of nicotine above 50 mg/ml are dangerous and must be kept out of the reach of children and pets. Contact with skin, eyes, or ingestion may result in serious medical problems up to and including death.
What you will need:
- At least one empty bottle
- Your favorite flavoring
- Vegetable Glycerin
- Propylene Glycol
- Liquid Nicotine
- Syringes and blunt tip needles for measuring
- Gloves to protect your hands & skin
- Eye Protection
Step 1: Preparation - Lay out all the materials you will be using in an orderly fashion on your workspace. This will prevent spills from moving around too much by getting up if you forgot something.
Step 2: Calculation - Get your mobile phone or tablet and load one of the DIY Calculators. For this example we will be using the Browser Based DIY Calculator. Start entering you data:
Add flavor (if you want to add more than 1 flavor, then hit the button again)
Go to you favorite DIY Flavoring product page on the website to see the % of flavor needed to achieve your favorite flavor strength:
Enter your flavor % in the calculator (If not using our flavoring, we suggest to start with 10%. Remember you can always add more, but you can't take it out once it's in there)

Step 2: Mix it up. Start adding the ingredients of your recipe one at a time. We suggest to use the order they are listed here to keep it simple.
2a: Add nicotine concentrate amount shown on your recipe
Note: For measurements less than 1 ml we suggest a small needle between 1 ml and 3 ml. If using our nicotine which is VG based and thick, a lower gauge needle works best
2b: Add PG amount shown on your recipe.
Note: Unless making very small bottles, it's best to use a 10ml syringe. Since PG is thin, a higher gauge needle is best.
2c: Add flavor amount shown on your recipe.
Note: Unless making very small bottles, it's best to use a 10ml syringe. Since flavorings are thin, a higher gauge needle is best.
2d: Fill the bottle with VG.
Note: No need to measure. Most e-juice bottles are slightly larger than their advertised size. Be sure to leave a small bubble of air to make the next step easier.
Step 3: Shake it up and we mean really shake it. You should see small bubbles throughout the liquid from top to bottom. If any of the e-juice seems to have a swirled effect to it, shake it some more.
Step 4: Steep it. After taking the time to put all this together it's natural to want to sample your work. Flavors and nicotine always need time to steep. Keep in mind when you purchase finished e-juice products from us, the product has already steeped anywhere from 2-5 days depending on how long the package took to arrive at your home. It's important to give your product some steep time for the flavor to mature.
Note: For more information on steeping, visit our Steeping Page
Step 5: Vape and enjoy!
