The original KangerTech SSOCC coils were made with a nichrome (NiCr) vertical coil and a stainless steel casing to provide longer lasting coils due to the higher heat tolerance. The lineup has been expanded over time to include a Kanthal Clapton (higher production) and Stainless Steel/Nickel wire options for temperature control.
